so....today i buy a copy of the adventures of milo & otis for five dollars, thinking it would be great. i mean, i loved the movie as a kid, so it seemed like a pretty cool thing to have around when you're stoned....

no way. this a fucking horror movie! cat gets thrown off a waterfall, is pit against TWO bears, gets thrown off a cliff into POUNDING ocean waves, and then gets attacked by at least 30 wild seagulls. my brain must have blocked out all that bad stuff, because i didn't remember any of that. i guess 27 poor kitties were killed during the four year filming.

so sad. my childhood heart has been raped. now i am embarrassed to have even bought that piece of garbage.

first day off in 5 days. woke up and read a book in the bathtub. also went for a run/walk. really nice. although i had to change my route, because i found out there are TWO sex offenders living on my original route!

i really want to go shopping but i need to save money for austin. it's hard. the plane ticket to san antonio is like $260 and of course it's more expensive to fly straight into austin. if we flew to san antonio and rented a car it would be IDEAL. but warren would have to get his driver's license sometime between now and then. i feel very "i don't know what to do." not to mention WHERE ARE WE GONNA STAY? i know we have plenty of peeps on austin, but i REALLY wanted to get a hotel and fancy-up the whole experience. doesn't look like that's gonna happen.

BUT, there's still a month between now and then, and i'm working five days this week, one of them a double and i think the same schedule next week.

Did a super fun shoot with Lisa last weekend. The theme for the first two is Gothic Lolita. I had wanted to do a shoot this style for a long time, so I was really stoked. The last one is like totally awesome 80's bitchy chick. I fell in love with the dress and now want to buy it really badly! I really liked the wig with the tulle detail.

so, today i am going to a "home" to visit my grandmother. i think today is her first day there. they're only going to let her stay there for a few days. usually, the people who get admitted stay for a while until they get better, but it's different for her. because she's not ever going to get better.
on saturday, she lost her ability to walk and she can't control her bodily functions either. it's really sad. i wish there was something that i could do.
i'm really nervous. she's sicker and sicker everytime i see her. doesn't even look like the same person at all. completely different person.
i really hate cancer a lot.

just got back from trader joe'z. they cleaned me out. well, it's easy to get cleaned out at the grocery when you only have $40.
got 99% fat free burritos, chicken burritos, some kind of potato medley, pink lemonade, kiwis, 2 cheeses, crackers, yogurt parfait, salad, a bag of apples, and some other crap.
i'm gonna start working 5 days a week soon, instead of 4. which is a good sign, and must mean that i am not completely incompetent like everybody seems to think.
getting fat from eating too much pasta though. i know i always am talking about being fat, but there is some serious pudge going on.
i apologized to somebody because i felt bad.

also, i have nothing in common with anybody that i work with and it SUCKS. much like my blog entries.

i had 1/2 of a miso soup which is mostly water and only 15 calories....
and a serving of vegetarian vegetable ABC soup which is 90 calories
i also ate a potato.

so yeah, i caved when i reaaaallly needed something hot. but it's not so bad, everything else was raw.

i'd super love a cheeseburger right now, though.
